The Pennsylvania State Grant Program is PHEAA
Federal Grants are Pell Grants
Go to PHEAA.org for a list of information needed to complete the FAFSA
Look for funds that will not require repayment
Your EFC means Expected Family Contribution
Apply early and meet all deadlines to maximize your aid options
Reapply each year you need student aid.
Set up a paper or electronic file for all information you collect about student aid
Keep copies of forms you complete and mark the date you mail them
Independent
students who have special cases, like a married student, should see
their high school guidance counselor or the financial aid office at the
school they are applying to.
Heres
